Welcome to the boredom, we've run out of fun games. You cant do anything you and it gets worst here everyday.
Now with that parody musical number I invite you to share in my new found boredom. To be fair to the world in general it has got some fun lined up for me. But not right now.
Since my return home its been dead here. With no FFXII to play its slightly worse, admittedly i have Zelda but I'm far too close to completing it and want to draw this task out over the summer (and allot of it is fishing... and i mean ALLOT). Wii sports can only keep me going for half an hour at a time, with bowling crossing back into Pro level along with tennis leaving me no real challenge for both. Wii play is just pants as a 1 player i have to say, and red steel is to hard (or my laziness kicks in, one of the two... My my bet is on the latter). I would buy another game such as Mario football but we hit the next snag.
Money, bit of green, squid, moolar, present from your sugar daddy. These thing (especially the last one) i have little of that i can touch. Without adding an excel sheet of my budget lets just say to live next semester I cannot spend money while at home or my outward payments will be bring me into an overdraft until my student loan kicks in. Unexpected bills are the problem as well. Contact lenses and such will leave me with very little.
Getting a job would solve all my problems. But I haven't got one and may not find one at all this summer. I'm not around long enough for most temp jobs and I'm not qualified for office jobs. Going to make another attempt at it next week, but i don't hold my breath. Only income looks to be from me going to my grans for a long weekend clearing out her garden. House and bored will be done for me and if i do a good job i earn a pretty packet. Enough to balance out the cost of me if luck is on my side.
Now onto the positives. I'm home and Ive updated my blog! Woot loops all round. I promise I'll post the back log at any point. Not that anyone besides myself reads this (I hold no false hope on the subject). who would, the ramblings of a madman... i mean mad'thing'. Due to my excessive large amount of free time i may set up a side blog along with this one, with my post explained in comic form. Anyone who wants to interpret them and have their version put up I'll be happy to oblige. Will hopefully be sorted by end of this Friday.
Another positive was a return to Mondays in harrow, for me this included helping out with the beaver scouts reopening after far to long. This move so far has been a great success with a regular number of around 15 beavers. I hope this goes well and continues to grow. Its run by three leaders as well, so they've got people willing to do it. I fear the 'to many chefs' complex may kick in at some point though. The beaver scouts was followed by explorer scouts, which unfortunatly felt a bit diminished last week (Jason knows that this was because it was a hike, i know what you lot are like *points finger accusingly*). The walk was great, talking to Shot glass like old times (explanation: Jonny, smaller than 'half pint', therefore 'shot glass').
Coming up Ive got a few things to possibly keep me amuse. One of them being the trip to see muse on Sunday with Andrew and Jonny. Gran coming to stay a few days starting today, so hopefully a bit of old comfort food aka soup *drools at thought*.
And on to today's music choice. Mixxed views have been received at this weeks choice. I discovered this band last summer thanks to a brilliant writer and co-worker, Payal who was a big fan. At the time i was looking to expand my music collection and didn't know where to turn. so she gave me some recommendations. The top of which was Coheed and Cambria. I bought it and fell in love with the sound. The album in question was their latest Album Good Will Apollo: Burning Start 4. A master piece of progressive rock. This video is from their third album, one of the best tracks on there. 'A Favour House Atlantic', a must play when at Spiders BTW. enjoy
With this i bid you farewell Tut tar
