I'm not sure why but life's worries seem to melt away on warm nights like this. Seinfeld urban foxes gives the city a second life (not to be confused with that awful online world filled with yiffing and other unmentionable things). This city belongs to the insomniac, drunkard, taxi cab and the thief.
A world without visible people, most snug in their beds, isn't as disturbing as it may sound.
I hunt for a kebab(some habits are hard to kick) but none are open. Outside of the drunk and taxi lain streets of Watford us wanderers are not catered to.
I see another pass me by on his meandering. Not a wanderer like me but a drunk struggling to get home. While not like me he is one if us. The empty night belongs to him as well.
An ambulance turns to a street in front of me. They are not part of this place, but travel through it. Collecting those of broken sleeper or the drunks who drank too much.
The quiet increases as I near my own place of slumber. This quiet world will pass from me to those still here till it is passed to others only to be drowned out by a waking world.
This world will return again. when sun is gone and people rest. Will you walk this wasteland? Or will pass it to others as it passes you by.

Good night and sweet dreams all. Thank you for the world of quiet.

Sent from my iPod

Still Alive

This is a triumph, I'm making a note here. huge success. although my satisfaction is non existent.

Burnout. only word to describe what I'm going through now. Ive got no drive whatsoever for anything that life throws at me. Yes, welcome once again to my little emo corner filled with despair for a system that lies to us(don't worry, it wont take long). We are told to make it in life, like there is some sort of goal. I reckon most of us will make reach that so called goal and go 'oh I'm here... I feel no different than i did before'. Bah the lie that is life.

This burnout doesn't just make me spew existential bile. Ive lost all draw to studying and video games. Thats right, i cant even procrastinate properly. i think i succeeded in doing absolutely nothing yesterday for 2 hours. Don't ask me how, i don't remember doing anything, i didn't go on any website, no emails either. i just sat there. The video games burnout has been a long lime coming. i mean, i managed to hit 70 in wow in half the time it has take my house mate. For anyone who does play i have my Cenarion war hipogryph (for those of you who don't, lets just say it takes a lot of days and some god awfully teamwork experiences. I reckon I'll let my account slide for a bit after this. Bad news for the guild I'm trying to make but i think they'll cope.

On to a more happy note, i've finally got some ink cartridges that work properly in my printer along with the transfers. This means i can make one of the t-shirts i've been planning. Ive sorted out a headcrab vombie for my ravenholm t-shirt, just need to get the text to the font i like and printed. This production time is now purely based on the laziness timescale. Time taken (T) to complete the talk is proportional to how complete it is(Omg). From this we have the 'k' I'll do it' constant.

therefore,
T=Kk Omg

Meaning that since is job is practically complete except printing and ironing i may take a eternity to do and will never truly be complete. 'Kk' is situational dependent and can be itself calculate based on age, task and so forth.

A suitable song for today, and one that i found in WoWradio. called 'the device has been modified'.

the mp3 can be downloaded here =3

Trying to keep up the science flow and feel of the day with that one. Still waiting to save up enough money to buy a new computer which can play portal. Apparently people are now making there own level for it now so i can play it longer than a few hours which first completion takes. Me and mark(cousin) ripped our way through..mainly because i wanted to hear the final song.

So with that i shall attempt to go back to study.

are you still there...

What the hell have i been doing?

Ok, I'm seriously pissed of with myself in many ways which will now be addressed in turn. The main one of course being that i've totally neglected to update this damn blog of mine.

I started this blog as a way for me to put some of my views into the tubes and generally moan like a little emo boy a bit about my life
(insert a 'your doing it wrong' joke)
all my great ideas of what to talk about have come and gone. Its not like i've been doing anything productive in this wide space of time.
Of course i've had study to do and labs but they don't dramatically cut into free time to any great degree. Ive simply vegged out on the sofa playing wow.

Another thing I'm pissed of with is my room. I usually spend a day cleaning it up like a OCD kid who hasn't taken their meds. Ive just been picking up laundry off the floor as and when i've needed it. This means i've usually got one was load on the floor one in the machine and one drying.

To lump all of this together i feel like im stagnating. Sitting here with nothing new happening to me. All my ideas and projects even don't get off the ground or don't reach fruition. For example i started playing around with photoshop again to up my skill with it and actually max some amusing picture. spent one day on it then did something else. Its not like I even got bored of it, i just didn't do it.
Yes this is my own little corner. I also feel that i need to talk to more people, i see one of two people once a week and a few people every two weeks and lets just say its getting to me. Two words 'female contact' thats whats missing, hanging out with fill covers all they guy jokes gaming insults and that stuff but meeting people i have a chance to pull or get to know isn't happening. hell, being single sucks.

I think iive spewed enough self hate now. Here is an awesome music video by a band i'm a quiet fan of.

All sympathy welcome, all hookups welcome as unlikely as they are >_>

Not long till exams now and i'm guessing that this will be now updated more often.

Happy time now.

Im making a set of t-shirts based on half life 2 and portal. I'll post some action pics once made. this project is lasting quite well so we will see what happens.

Germany: a family holiday

Despite previous posts about family holidays i can say that this one was an amazing success. I'm quite sure if anyone else in my family has/had a blog they would agree with me fervently *holds baseball bat menacingly* good, see they all agree. Now i shall recount to you the best bits (at least in my opinion)

I came home on the Thursday night late after havoc on the trains. Once again proof that the world hates me. A pleasant surprise (well not really a surprise) awaited me upon my return. My cousins Becky and Christopher had both arrived safe and sound for our set off the next morning. The journey was your usual long trip from A to B with a ferry in between. Got there in good time and managed to get in our first swim of the holiday.

Over the days that followed we had many a trip out to castles and towns. Far too many towns in my opinion, just the one would have been good enough. Managed to get someone else to experience the joy that is Kanon. The wii was brought with me for recreational purposes which can be summed up with two words 'Mario Football' the game is amazing and legendary. To continue my bad luck in such things Dave surpassed me at it incredibly quickly.
Becky also introduced us all to the gaming devolution which is board and card games (apparently of high level geekdom in the realm of strategy board games) Sporting names such as 'Citadel' and 'San Juan', the later taking hours to play and complete but damn is it worth it. The card game Citadel has the unfortunate side effect of getting someone pissed off. unfortunately i think its a good tactic to keep my opponents trodden into the dirt (the side of me you will only see when you are warring with me in any shape or form).

Swimming nearly every day was great, with a family game of piggy in the middle. I' m quite proud to say that i was hard to keep in the middle what with my suicidal form of jumping in the air at the expense of water flying up my nose. Volleyball was also added to our repertoire making this an almost healthy holiday. Lucky i canceled this out with the daily BBQ for dinner, once again my skills were appreciated (though for the life of me i still cant get garlic bread to work, double tin foil and it doesn't cook one layer it burns GAH!!!).

I can happily say i had a great time. If I'm missing anything though I'll mention it another post. god know i should have written it down at the time.

song time at last some music. A change of pace if you will again from my last set of songs. This one holds a lot of memories from the past for me. Hearing it as a kid has made it part of who i am.
So here i present 'Mike and the Mechanics' singing 'Over my shoulder'

Tah Tar

Human spell checker - Mad Hatter (Belle) (Nanna) (Jan-na-na-na-net)

Fear my power...FEAR IT!

Indeed you should fear my power, but more on that later. I've decided to start off today entry with a song. This came on my ipod on the way home and made me smile. the lyrics of this song have all ways made me smile, so simple and powerful. Plus this gives you something to listen to as you read.

My desk at work is covered ( i exaggerate in a very big way when i say this...in fact there are only 4 of them) in paper art. Stuff that you cunt out and glue at strategic points in order to round and define shapes. Sufficed to say it has kept me amused for many an hour at work. Kamatari, Link and Nana surround my monitor while others are disregarded by the CCTV monitor.

Having Nana there is kind of unnerving to say the least. sitting there, her eyes all tearful. (at this point i feel i should explain who i mean WARNING LINK NSFW
Nana's everyday life
it requires a lot of background knowledge in anime..or just a sick mind, your choice).
*moves Nana out onto the street* perhaps she will find papa.
Wtf is wrong with me (besides the things on the list...), i ask you people.

Last Sunday saw me getting my first Sunday off in aaaaages. since the other part timer decided to quit I've been doing every shift under the sun (though this isn't correct as i do the evening shift. oh how i love the pedantic). This means i still have no free time, Ive missed two possible pub meet ups, and there isn't much i can do about it. How i got the day off is the real story. Originally i was suppose to have that Sunday off, as we took it in turns to do the weekends, but with the vacancy they wanted me to work it. I took bull by the horns (the politest name for my boss so far) and said 'I cannot work this Sunday' it was brilliant, they claimed i didn't give them enough notice. I replied by pointing out that i wasn't working that Sunday at all until two days ago, and that Sunday would make it 7 days in a row and a breach of my working hours. Take that management! i continued by pointing out all the extra shifts i had covered so far and that i was working till 10pm. No way you can make me out to be the bad guy in that situation. Fear my power over management.

I had a spring in my step for the next few days i can tell you. It's one of those jobs that i get great satisfaction from completely because you can look at it and see the effort you put in to complete and shape it. Compare this to completing an essay. When done you feel a great sense of relief but looking at it doesn't really give you any more satisfaction. Maybe I'm alone in this view.

Yesterday morning (i know, the M word) saw me making a few bob as well. I assembled a flat pack wardrobe, the thing was massive. took me good 3 hours at least
I finally managed to get a copy of harry potter on Tuesday and have finished it. Don't worry i wont comment on the story or plot at all. I ask you all though, what do we do now? seriously, what is there to wait for and anticipate to that degree? Hopefully i will find something with that much sway over me again.

Now on to some major news. I'm going on holiday to Germany. Huzzar and go me. Wont write down what plans have been shaped for my trip or anything like that... i recon i could stretch it to two or three blog posts (knowing me it'll be one, and it'll be a week late...but *shssssssh* don't tell me that). Am leaving at 4am tomorrow and return 14th. Wish my luck on my journey, its cheaper and tax deductible is its a gift.

That'll do for today. If I'm missing anything I'll edit it in or mention it next post.
Tutar

Human spell checker - Mad Hatter (Belle) (Nanna) (Jan-na-na-na-net)

No title given

Honest to god i cant think of a title for today's entry. Why I'd be telling this to god I don't, it's not like he'd read my blog. Then again I'm pretty sure no one reads this thing. YOU ALL SMELL! ha, take that no existent reader... not you really ones. You don't smell. (I think I got away with that one)

No particular theme for today's blog other than that I'm bored at work with an hour to kill. I've given up hand writing these before I post them because I never seem to get around to it and if i really want a paper copy i can always just print one off... oh dear god. No one is to print this off ever... *starts learning html to stop this happening* *gives up*

Ive done some fun things since my last post I'm sure. Oh yes i have indeed reader... ummm, it'll come to me as I type. while you wait an apple update. My need as been curbed due only to my mothers purchases of truly disgusting range of apples. I'm not sure if you lot are totally with the apple scene with all the cool kids. But the most common and cheapest is cox apples, and you get what you pay for, cardboard appears to be their closest relatives.
Cutting it short, granny smith 'apples = god like', 'golden delicious = good when fresh'. My mum has bought Jazz apples, these get worse are the days go on.

I now remember what I've been up to. Went to a party at the Sanders residence, twas fancy dress. Unfortunately I couldn't dress up as a pirate. So what did i do? i dressed as Gandalf... yup, you can see the natural progression can't you. It was on the theme of musicals, and due to the lord of the rings musical (and Mary's request) I came as Gandalf. Lets just say some costumes were interesting. I had a good night.

I am suffering immensely right now. Harry Potter has been released and i don't have the money for my own copy. Someone kill me...or just give me your copy. Why does the word conspire against me I ask you? (please send all answers to PFT.Shadow@gmail.com ).

I'm sure the world is conspiring against me at this point. Money seems to be draining from my account quicker than i had budgeted for. I even budgeted for unexpected parties (sad i know, but i need my money to live next year). The weather on friday was fine example of this. The rain has decided to pour down during the day stopping just before i leave. this of course was just a ruse. Arriving at the station my first train is delayed, i manage to get one station down the line and the whole thing closes down. Had to make a complicated maneuver involving three changes and a notional rail train. I made it on time, perfectly as i remember. You can thank my mum for that for Giving me a lift to the station.

Change of pace again for music. I hadn't noticed this song till the other day at Claire's house. Usually id switch away from Pink's work as I've not been a big fan but this one has grown on me incredibly quickly. The lyrics are quite good as well. Here is Pink-'Alone I'm lonely'

Well that's all for today, another update with a title hopefully
Tutar

Human spell checker - Mad Hatter (Belle) (Nanna) (Jan-na-na-na-net)

Tour de Office work

Hello again, welcome to a place where nothing is quite as it seems. A place where the abnormal is normal, where Puns are a language and currency. Welcome... To my brain.

Anyway, to the job at hand (all things considered finger tip and and brain would suit better). My weeks since my last post have been dull and uneventful. yet i will still write this to pass time and get some thoughts down on the tubes.

I have been forced into apple cold turkey (sounds like a recipe to avoid) due to a lack of them being purchased. One a day keeps me ticking over. So if you have any pity, send your apples to the Jason relief fund today.

Well, I say uneventful. I have, looking back at my diary, done a lot of things. Lets start with Janet's Party.

This was truly a great party, based on the theme of 'What you wanted to be when you were younger'. At first the title sounds great and full of possibility such as the multi verse itself... Then it hit me, i don't remember what i wanted to be. This caused much panic and deliberation to take place within my brain. Finally i settled on Pirate, for those of you that know me this is no surprise, for which i already owned a costume. Before anyone questions me, i did in fact want to be a pirate. In fact i had a whole party themed to it when i was little, so there =P. Evidence must be provided since i think my costume was made of Awesome in a can (just add Win).
Pirates, Yarrrrr!
Anyway, the party went well, drunk people made asses out of themselves. So all round a good party.

The next day was the Ichigos meetup. Great to finally put screen names and avatars to faces. Makes the who cyber friendship thing seem a bit more worth it. We went to pizza hut and general manga shopping. I even managed to drag a load of them through Brewers street (for those of you who aren't aware of such things, this is THE place to shop in Soho for...things). To put the icing on the cake it was gay pride. Oh how I laughed on the inside.
Pictures of the crew

I finished off that weekend with an extra shift at work on the Sunday. Doing a morning shift for a change. These students don't know the meaning of 'Leave by 10'. I had to pester them every 15 mins to get a move on. Eventually they left. when i say left i mean they left there room, dumped all their stuff in the office and hung around for hours.

Oh and another recent event was a haphazard reunion of a large group of my friends at the pub. Nice and informal with me and Matt getting well and truly pissed, much to the amazement and amusement of Andrew. One of what I'm sure will be the highlights of this summer for me.

While i have managed to meet up with some friends other seem to have disappeared off the face of the planet. I guess my slightly more reasonable sleeping pattern doesn't suit a lot of people i know. Oh well screw you guys, I need to go to sleep before 1am now.

Oh, and another thing again. Went to see the Tour de France on Saturday with my dad. Good to have something as popular as the Tour starting in the UK this year. Saturday was the time trials. I'm amazed at the speed these riders can achieve. I'm hoping to get back into it this year after a rather over shadowed tour last year with Armstrong retiring and others pulling out for unannounced(at the time that is. Its now common belief that major doping was taking place) after the discover of lots of blood in a team boot. The Floyd Landis's test after his amazing stage recovery showed shockingly abnormal amounts of testosterone. This time tomorrow he may have his title stripped from him.

Anyway, I've been wondering what music to put up and suddenly realized that i haven't forced Garbage into your ears ( not literally of course). Then come the choice of what to play, this was solved pretty quickly by the choice available to me on youtube. Ive Noticed that they have just released a greatest hits. If any of you love me you will buy me it.
So listen to this, one of my favorites.

and these
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cizBRwETDwc
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1N29vkIT3eo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-CHEnJ7gnc

If you haven't guessed this one one of my favorite bands. I haven't got a poster of Shirley Manson on my wall honest, my geek girl idol.

Anyway, thats enough typing for today. Enjoy your read. I suppose i only have myself to blame, but doesn't mean i wont try. Currently typing this at work. I recent times blogging has led to the firing of people. Then again these people tend to have a lot higher positions than I and access to sensitive information.

Just to be safe all the same im currently using firefox portable edition. Specially created to run off a USB stick, in this case an ipod, and doesnt leave a trace on the computer. Muhahaha, ninja bogging. *jumps back to typing in the shadows*

So, on with the tale. I have a job as before mentioned. I'm working as a evening receptionist for a halls of residence in London. You'd think it would be quiet... well it is, but not as quiet as you would expect. They take a lot of guests during the summer, some needing to pay, students leave and they need to have rooms checked and such. All in all this job rocks.

On a random side note i seem to have developed a strange addiction to apples. When i say strange i mean a straightforward addiction, but to me an addiction to such things is strange. *mind wonders what a strange addiction would look like* ... *shudders*. I seem to be eating about two a day at least. I have also begun eating all except that little stalk bit at the top. the core of an apple is good for you I'm sure. The best bit is eating them on the train and eating it all. the weird looks fascinate me, traditionally you should eat the whole apple, and leaving the core only leave rubbish. *adds to the list of weird things about me*

Oh, and i should have written about this much earlier. Muse. Yes muse. I went to seem them for their Sunday showing at Wembly arena. All I can say is wow. They completely blew me away. Playing my favorite track plug in baby as an encore. Cheers once again to Andrew and Jonny for the memorable day out. The stadium was worth the wait to say the least, looks really impressive the arch in itself is something to behold. You can tell its built for music as well.
The other bands went as good for course but was surprise by Biffy Clyro, having never heard them before. MCR were as good as to be expected, wasn't a fan of their 'don't do suicide' speech though. guess it says a lot about their fan base. Shy child were... different to say the least a keytarist (guitar shaped keyboard) and a drummer. their songs sounded a bit same same though.

Anyway, back to current times. Once again my excess anime watching strikes. Ive watched two great series in the last couple of weeks. 'I's Pure' and 'REC', once again I'm addicted to the romance stories and thanks to M on ichigos.com I've got a few more to watch.

I finally managed to get round to talking to Claire again. god knows im far too lazy at keeping contact. Spent a day with her as well which was great, Claire was and still is a great friend who enjoys things and talks about things that others don't. She knows a hell of a lot about me that others don't. Why let a friendship like that disappear.

Todays music is one of Muse's finest and my favorite. 'Plug in baby'
I'll let the music speak for itself.

Anyway, thats enough for today
Tut Tar

Human spell checker - Mad Hatter (Belle) (Nanna) (Jan-na-na-na-net)

Welcome to the boredom

Welcome to the boredom, we've run out of fun games. You cant do anything you and it gets worst here everyday.

Now with that parody musical number I invite you to share in my new found boredom. To be fair to the world in general it has got some fun lined up for me. But not right now.

Since my return home its been dead here. With no FFXII to play its slightly worse, admittedly i have Zelda but I'm far too close to completing it and want to draw this task out over the summer (and allot of it is fishing... and i mean ALLOT). Wii sports can only keep me going for half an hour at a time, with bowling crossing back into Pro level along with tennis leaving me no real challenge for both. Wii play is just pants as a 1 player i have to say, and red steel is to hard (or my laziness kicks in, one of the two... My my bet is on the latter). I would buy another game such as Mario football but we hit the next snag.

Money, bit of green, squid, moolar, present from your sugar daddy. These thing (especially the last one) i have little of that i can touch. Without adding an excel sheet of my budget lets just say to live next semester I cannot spend money while at home or my outward payments will be bring me into an overdraft until my student loan kicks in. Unexpected bills are the problem as well. Contact lenses and such will leave me with very little.

Getting a job would solve all my problems. But I haven't got one and may not find one at all this summer. I'm not around long enough for most temp jobs and I'm not qualified for office jobs. Going to make another attempt at it next week, but i don't hold my breath. Only income looks to be from me going to my grans for a long weekend clearing out her garden. House and bored will be done for me and if i do a good job i earn a pretty packet. Enough to balance out the cost of me if luck is on my side.

Now onto the positives. I'm home and Ive updated my blog! Woot loops all round. I promise I'll post the back log at any point. Not that anyone besides myself reads this (I hold no false hope on the subject). who would, the ramblings of a madman... i mean mad'thing'. Due to my excessive large amount of free time i may set up a side blog along with this one, with my post explained in comic form. Anyone who wants to interpret them and have their version put up I'll be happy to oblige. Will hopefully be sorted by end of this Friday.

Another positive was a return to Mondays in harrow, for me this included helping out with the beaver scouts reopening after far to long. This move so far has been a great success with a regular number of around 15 beavers. I hope this goes well and continues to grow. Its run by three leaders as well, so they've got people willing to do it. I fear the 'to many chefs' complex may kick in at some point though. The beaver scouts was followed by explorer scouts, which unfortunatly felt a bit diminished last week (Jason knows that this was because it was a hike, i know what you lot are like *points finger accusingly*). The walk was great, talking to Shot glass like old times (explanation: Jonny, smaller than 'half pint', therefore 'shot glass').

Coming up Ive got a few things to possibly keep me amuse. One of them being the trip to see muse on Sunday with Andrew and Jonny. Gran coming to stay a few days starting today, so hopefully a bit of old comfort food aka soup *drools at thought*.

And on to today's music choice. Mixxed views have been received at this weeks choice. I discovered this band last summer thanks to a brilliant writer and co-worker, Payal who was a big fan. At the time i was looking to expand my music collection and didn't know where to turn. so she gave me some recommendations. The top of which was Coheed and Cambria. I bought it and fell in love with the sound. The album in question was their latest Album Good Will Apollo: Burning Start 4. A master piece of progressive rock. This video is from their third album, one of the best tracks on there. 'A Favour House Atlantic', a must play when at Spiders BTW. enjoy

With this i bid you farewell
Tut tar

Human spell checker - Mad Hatter (Belle) (Nanna) (Jan-na-na-na-net)

Drinking to Forget: The case of the beds on the landing

Today's entry is written in a Cafe Nero in Beverly. How did I end up here you may ask? Well I walked it would be the answer. Here is a little map for you all.
[Map thingy]
Half cross country and half along roads as i didn't properly research foot paths (note:Do so next time). Only took 2 1/2 hours.

'Why did i walk?' is probably the question you wanted to ask even before the picture. The answer is complicated. Exam number one was a complete failure and I recon I failed it straight off. No way to avoid this fact. Got a week and a bit to prepare for the next one. Past papers to the max so that there is no question we cannot answer! Ha take that system *shakes fists at the system* *the system cowers in fear*.
An Incident this morning made me want to leave. I get told I'm 'bullshitting' for not remembering something. Never try to explain anything to drunken people. Most people (especially my parents) can protest to how bad my short term memory is. I start something and forget why.

Today once again Ive had a song stuck in my head. Therefore I shall share it with you. This song is 'Night Drive' by 'Jimmy Eat World'. Discovered this band thanks to my cousin Daniel finding a copy of one of their albums, and finding it ridiculously cheap in Germany. The album became our most played CD that holiday. Years later finding it again and buying it for myself. Went to see them live as the support act for Greenday (Jimmy Eat World were the only reason i went to that gig) and was blown away. This track is from their latest album 'Futures'. So without further ado.

I'll stop here. So now to task. Let me sow the seeds of the event and let the story grow.

I'll start with last Tuesday. A day of labs followed by beer. For some reason I had made Tuesdays my drunken night. Following a day of failed experiments me and Mel went drinking. This leading eventually to go out with a few of her mates. Lets just say I was having a good night (will say more if you give me some beer).

As they say 'the best laid plans of mice and men oft go array' and they did in a big way! I got punched in the back of the head. (hath this guy no honour!) Later on I find out its one of her exes. So police were called, people (well 'He') spent a night in the cells. sufficed to say. Ive been a little of footed by this experience. Apparently cases of random violence are increasing. (this isn't me reading t a tabloid as a bible truth (god forbid I sink that low, Times for me please), This was from witness support.

I am myself a great advocate of violence. Its human nature, it has made us who we are today... Well, thinking about it a bit more , I believe in some cases it is necessary.

We skip forward to Thursday and me deciding I need to go out. First pub I go into there is a fight around the pool table with some underage drinkers and the bar staff. Sufficed to say I haven't been o many nights out since. Most of my nights involve me staying in.

Friday I went to my aunts house in Maltby. Needed to get out . I arrived to the sound of news reports telling of a students death at the Lawns (full story here on this LINK, go on CLICK ME!!). Party on Sunday cheered me up greatly, socialising for a good part with my uncle Steve and my dad (as Usual, emptying several bottles of wine). Then spent at least 3 hours playing Warcraft 3 tower defence. Cheers my large large family for the 'pick me up'. This week has been manic with exams starting on Monday and I've been in panic mode. EEK!!

It has led to stress induced watching of two entire series of anime. Air and Ichigo100%, both I found to have a wonderful and compelling story line.
The lead male sort of disappears, sacrificing his life to free the heroin from her timeless torment. She herself dies in the end, but happy and free.
whereas Ichigo100% doesn't have a conclusion at all!!

Had my dyslexia assessment today (fear my ability to completely change the subject). I think I've managed to convince them that I need a laptop rather than a desktop computer. Free roaming is the way of the future, so I can write these up more frequently (Lies, I'll still find some way of being late).

No music has come to mind when writing this... well some has but i cant find it online easily (lazy, i know). Its called 'At dusk' by 'yuki Kajiura'. A song from an anime called Noir. Purely piano though and rather touching. She is one of the best composers of modern piano music in my opinion. Only really known to the anime world, which is a shame. A compilation of some of her stuff is available at amazon called 'Fiction'. One day I'll remember to buy it when I have money.

Gunna stop now before I regret writing so much (my response when typing this: 'you bastard!')
Tut Tar

Human spell checker - Mad Hatter (Belle) (Nanna) (Jan-na-na-na-net)

Oh My Goth!!

Wellity Wellity Wellity my Droogies (I know how much you love non words Belle ^_^. Read 'A clockwork orange' to fully understand my meanings)

This indeed has been an enjoyable weekend. My trip to Camden was a great success and i will post pictures to prove it.
(insert pic of my purchases)
Don't these shirts look...different. Will go perfectly well with my jacket and trousers for the 'HAGS' Ball. After Camden i went to sleep in the park outside the Royal Albert Hall waking up to the exclamations of 'Hes climbing up the statue', Getting up to see a man in his birthday suit climbing up the monument to the great exhibition and all around Britishness.Police were there almost instantly but once up there they could only watch. He seemed to be *cough* enjoying himself an awful lot. Started holding his legs up and leaning back leading to his fall backwards on to the marble bellow with a disturbing bounce as it rejected his presence.

No worries people the guy was fine (or as fine as you can be for a drunk naked man) as a few minutes later he got up and tried to run away. I missed this as i had gone off for a drink with my parents and Dave(my sister's boyfriend).

I have to say it wasn't one for the best HYM royal Albert Hall performances I've been to. Maybe it needed more Gershwin (for those of you (most of you) who hadn't been there, that's what most of it was). There was no big finally that every other year had. My Sister sung Thriller, thought she did an excellent job of it(family pride kicks in). But, yeah, no good solid ending. More of a Rennie in water than Lithium. Today we went to the country for a carvery lunch with cousins and friends of the family's. Twas brilliant and scrumptious (refuses to use 'nice' to describe food') and am now on a train back to hull. Once again my train was delayed this was due to a train detour and a slow restocking apparently. This 20 minutes isn't as bad as the hour i had to wait on Friday.

Oh, back in Camden I was also looking for music. In particular i was looking for Voltaire Cd's as well and managed to find the entire collection. Had to settle with buying only two albums as I had spent a silly amount of money. The two albums i bought were 'The Devils Bris' and 'Almost Human' he second of which was signed. Over the moon is how happy I was, but controlled myself this time *does mental happy dance* Thus today's choice of music. A taster if you will

unfortunately they are all set to anime clips, ignore that and enjoy the music. This is also good. 'God thinks'
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vX-q66lpGQM

Well I'm gunna stop now, I've already created a backlog to work through.
As the Sloganator says. 'tell your friends about PFT' very true people. pwease get people to read and I'll post more often and on time.

Tut tar

Human spell checker - Mad Hatter (Belle) (Nanna) (Jan-na-na-na-net)

London: One of my many homes

I'll start off by apologising to people who may or may not read my blog about the erratic nature and appearance of my posts. The thing is I hand write them, type them up, get them posted and then edited (Cheers Belle aka Madhatter aka...). So its 'effort', and you know how i feel about 'effort'.

Anyway, I'm currently on a GNER train between Peterbourgh and London on my way home for the weekend. As usual its not been a simple journey, with my second train breaking down in Newark (I think). Had to wait for the next one which stops at half a dozen more stations( saying 6 would be quicker i know, but doesn't it seem a larger and more ominous when i say half a dozen?) with a school teacher holding us up at one as she had booked seats and not got on the last train either. Still got the London underground to go. I'm sorta looking forward to that though, feels like home.

While like every Londoner I moan about trains and buses I miss it when I'm not here (not the charge increase though)

I plan to do what i didn't do over Easter and go to Camden market on Saturday and spend a silly amount on clothes. As the HAGS (Hull Alternative And Gothic Society) end of the year ball approaches and I wanna dress up. They have burlesque dancers for god's sakes, think of the finer things people!

Saturday sees my sister singing in the Royal Albert Hall, I made sure i was home for this. Also have a few friends playing with Andrew gracing us with a solo. Once again they will be confused by my hair as it is properly blue now.

The dye arriving this morning so its nice, fresh and bright. A side effect is that it has dyed mt nails, which has got me a few odd looks until i explained it was the hair dye.

Well I'll stop as I'm nearing Kings Cross draws near.

May put pics in, but probably not

Tut tar

Human spell checker - Mad Hatter (Belle) (Nanna) (Jan-na-na-na-net)

Tickets anyone?

I know this is a bit late but, Yes i have a new blog. I decided i needed a change and a more serious blog than MyFace, somewhere where a new friend or comment is a cause for excitement and joy (not that i wont enjoy your comments and witty repartee on this blog, but it is more fit for purpose).

Sitting in a lecture at the moment completely clueless as to what is going on.From what i can gather we are going through answers to online questions which we should have done. Bugger. Hope I can download them.

Today sees the starting of sale of ball tickets. Dear lord the Que is humongous! People have been queuing from 4am this morning (Just found out Liam is 9th in the Que and he got there at 11pm, madness) The Que stretches outsides which at first doesn't sound too bad but then you hear it goes through Asylum (the student union club), through sanctuary and then the ticket office. If you were lucky you got to sleep inside.

So much for me getting tickets for the ball, wanted to take Lou and Andy (sorry you two, cant resist calling you that), I mean Louise and Andrew. Ash are playing for god's sakes ASH!! This requires another music video from them.

grrr, i hope they start touring again.

with exams closing in I have gone into slight panic mode. This doesn't mean I have stepped up my revision. It means I obsessively tidy my room, organise my notes and make a pretty revision plan. I'm hoping I'll stick to it...

*starts laughing*
*sees people looking at him*
*stops*

I must remember where i am when I write these. Then again they may just be looking at my hair.

This isn't extreme vanity, this is because of its colour. A weird grey, blond, greenish, blue mix. The of my hair rejecting the hair dye i was inflicting upon it much to my disappointment. Unlucky for me, no one here sells the dye and have had to order it online with an expected arrival this week. Will post a pic if i get round to taking one.
No ranting like a mad man today, there may be one towards he end of the year about exams, but that will become an annual thing.

Off to finish my lab write ups now

tut tar

Human spell checker - Mad Hatter (Belle) (Nanna) (Jan-na-na-na-net)

The music in my head

This is just a random filler to keep me happy. Its hot, no way round it, this guy knows what hes talking about, or at least understands the finner things in life. Yes my friend leather is one of gods best creations (hail his noodly appendages). But I'll save a talk about that for a rainy day or week or my next post. My back post will uploaded in a few days from the first half my holiday.

Honestly it'll be a proper post with a rant and everything...may even be more of what the finner things of life are.

Human spell checker - Mad Hatter (Belle) (Nanna) (Jan-na-na-na-net)

Blood, Sweat and Tears: A Whitehead Family Holiday

These are the main things comprise any family holiday and today i have witnessed two of them. More on that later...

Today is the second day of our returns to my Uncle Greg's house and are enjoying the warmest part of the holiday so far. The last few days at Wendy's (my aunts place) is a drunken blur.

There were 9 of us in total residing in the house, four of my family (including yours truly), three of my aunts family and two extra friends of theirs. I blame these two and in particular Steve for my consuming for at least one bottle of wine a night. Not bad stuff though, all the 'good shit' as it were. Being as good as it was it didn't help, i like my wine. On the day of time of arrival Steve and Mark(my uncle) were already pissed. This made socialising piss easy as they talked...

Make that all three requirements being met for a Whitehead family holiday. Yes in real time (or as close to it as possible for you lot as this wont appear till ages later when i feel like typing and that stuff)

Anyway so yeah Steve as it turns out was once one of Britons punks. (screw what people call punks now, this is the real HARDCORE STUFF...well more than this lot can ever hope to achieve) Owning clothes owned by Vivian Westwood and hung around with 'Adam and the Ants' even meeting the 'sex pistols'! Guy was legend.
Sufficed to say we got drunk every night and ended up inviting some English neighbours around as well. I think its fairly easy to understand why i don't have any pictures of them me or the house.

To be honest I'm glad to be back in Greg's house so my liver, brain and body can recover although not every ones 'body' is safe here. yes, finally i will elaborate on today's title.

As i said at the start, today's weather has been amazing. We have been to a market (next paragraph) and shops. Upon our return my dad decided to try the sit down lawn mower. This went well until my uncle decided to find out if the belt driving the blades was working while they were still spinning. Then deciding to lean down on the mower to support himself, pushing the blades towards his hand. looking at the mower he appears to have leaned in the warning sticker telling you not to put your hand under there. He has been rushed off to hospital right now to see if he can keep his finger tips. From him alone we gain the blood and sweat required. Tears was received a short while ago from my sister who was rather upset that nobody liked her choice in TV programs and wished her to change or remove it. This lead to argument hissy fit, my mother removing the remote control from her possession and Naomi leaving crying.
WTFBBQ you must be asking yourself, but it makes perfect sense when you realise it was the tryouts for 'grease' for the second time today and 'Americas next top model'. Neither shows in anyway make our lives better but make others allot worse.

Silence now reigns supreme in this house, broken only by a ticking clock making its passage and my pen pinning it to a page.

Back to earlier, the market in Brieve was amazing. What id call a 'real' market with local farmers selling their produce with veggies and such. To top it all off there was a massive animals section with baby ducks and all ages of chickens, guinea pigs and rabbits or as i affectionately called them Dinner. yup, your view of pet is these peoples view of dinner. to be more accurate a french dinner. Was incredibly tempted to buy a baby duck for three euro, what a wonderful pet.

[picture will be edited in]

doesn't dinner look cute

Well i must help with my dinner now. Unfortunately I'm only eating beef burgers. maybe next time ehy?

byeeeeeeee.e..e.........
......................................
.................................eee

Human spell checker - Mad Hatter (Belle) (Nanna) (Jan-na-na-na-net)

Over zealous parents! You know you hate them.

Sorry to start off on such a random note not that this is any different than usual but in this case its really been getting on my nerves. Anyway, where was I...

The ‘Little Timmy is doing so well’ sort of people who don their entire house with their child’s exploits not matter how small or shire. Pictures of dogs that look like an elephant exploding inside a petting zoo.

Don’t get me wrong, encouraging your kids is great. You never know what a person can achieve if they put their mind to it but doesn’t mean you must expose us to the same thing as them. A displaying a few pictures is all well and good but it’s when you have to watch family videos that you have well and truly nuked the line.

My family has become like this with the ever growing exploits of my younger sister. I’ll quite happily sing her graces from time to time (though she could do allot better at singing it than me) but I won’t make you sit and watch her latest performance while I sit here starry eyed wondering why you aren’t having as much fun as me.

Lets face it people your kids are stupid when they are little. Not everyone is destined to be the next Vincent Van Gogh (although with some of the stupidity I’ve witnessed I’m sure more than a few will lose an ear one way or another). Some people are good at plumbing and manual labour, so let them be good at it (they earn more than some university lecturers).

Thinking about it more I hate family movies in general. They make me cringe and squirm on a tectonic scale. It doubles my embarrassment of an event as not only was I probably embarrassed by my actions at the time; I now have to relive them in front of others. By thinking about it I experience more than double the attention for an event, watching me then twice and now once as well. You of all people should know how easily embarrassed I am at the most simple of things like someone mentioning my name or those around me being embarrassing. Give me photos to look at any day.

Note to family. Its not aimed at you, i was bored and stuff. To be more precised Dad, i know you'll read this at some point so don't worry, your not bad.

I am a rather big fan of photography (wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more say no more) in all in carnations. Photoshop is one of TNO’s (The Noodlely One’s (Ramen)) greatest creations and one day I will get CS2 and learn how to use it to its fullest.

Maybe I could use it to solve my endless painting problem. Don’t worry; this will make very little sense to most people, purely a note to myself, no worries

So now we must venture into the here now and not so distant present (the future is something we never reach, and talking about it as a not so distant present kind makes it more believable I feel). I am staying at my Aunt’s place and my Uncle’s places over Easter (yus multiple places, this isn’t just my sloppy spelling haunting you even through word processing) At the moment of writing this I am in a little town called St. Sozy, a little town in the valley of the Dordogne with views of hills and mountains. The Dordogne River itself is max of five minutes walk down the road and by road I mean country track covered in tarmac. This is house one of two that my gardener of an uncle owns around here. The one we are staying in at the moment is the one he rents out in the summer, the bigger house.

Shameless plug of details for renting it is possible on request. Trouble is apparently that

people book these houses half a year ahead or after they leave. So for future reference, if yah want to rent a house in France book at crimbo.

He has a second house which e then stays in when he is out of home over the summer. He works a lot of the time as a gardener looking after properties like his and helps build other buildings and homes. Looking at the picture which I have on facebook.com you can see why the house and the region is so popular with tourists and the such. Beautiful countryside but there are towns not too far away.

This semi lack of civilisation is great for study. No wi-fi, no internet and no wii (just got past the temple of time btw and reactivated the dominion rod, not long left for main quest). First time I’ve honestly wanted to study to pass the time and I haven’t needed too, i blame the fresh are and damned sunlight.

On Tuesday I’ll be heading to my aunts house in Cassoul de Bezire which is in a "circulard". For you heathen uncultured plebs (please keep reading, you know I love you all really) its a city built in a circle in order to better defend itself, but now very little actually remains of it but the shape is still there. I haven’t been there in a year or two, last time i went it was more like a shell with us sleeping on inflatable mattresses . so apparently its all habitable now with no chance of barbecues collapsing on peoples heads as it did to my mum last time, damn funny and impressive it was (don’t judge my sense of humour here, the thing was unstable as it was and without provocation it went sideways over my mum just as she leaned over next to it. You would have laughed too dammit).

Thanks for at least reading some of my ramblings or just reading this bit. This has kept me sane and away from another Jane Austin movie my mum insists on watching.

Cheers, adios

Human spell checker - Mad Hatter (Belle) (Nanna) (Jan-na-na-na-net)

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://umbrashadow.blogspot.com/2007/04/over-zealous-parents-you-know-you-hate.html' title='Over zealous parents!
